Frost Hardy Perennial

The Mock Orange Blossom is a vigorous, deciduous shrub with oval, green foliage and large, fragrant clusters of very pretty, double, white flowers which appear in late spring and early summer.

The fragrant flowers make this shrub an ideal choice for garden beds and large pots.

Pruning

When to prune: Immediately after flowering. Flowers on year old growth. Light pruning after flowering - with a heavyweight pruning every few years (remove around a quarter of all stems at ground level) to create strong new growth.

Propagation

Stem cuttings from an established plant.
Below a leaf node about 12cm long. Hormone powder and plant in well-draining potting soil.
