Characteristics

Half-hardy Perennial

This iconic Western Australian native plant forms a tall black tree-like base over a very long period of time. Loves dry warm climates, full sun and sandy soils. Drought tolerant and fire hardy. Very slow growing and long lived, great landscape feature plant. Produces tall spires of creamy white flowers.

Plants take 4 years to produce a 'trunk' and 10 years to reach maturity.
